Data Download

The Puget Sound LiDAR Consortium has been collecting LiDAR data since 2000.  The consortium established an inter-agency contract used by numerous entities to collect LiDAR data for their projects.  As part of the contract, all data collected through the PSLC adheres to a set of technical specifications design for best result in the Pacific Northwest.  The consortium also makes available data acquired by other agencies under their own contract and specifications.

PSLC Data
Data collected through the PSLC inter-agency contract.  This data adheres to the Consortium's technical specifications.

Data from Other Agencies
These datasets were provided for distribution by individual agencies.  Some were collected with specifications similar to the PSLC.  Be aware that the quality among these datasets varies.

Mosaic Data as File Geodatabase
Includes PSLC data and data from other agencies.

Washington DNR Data Portal
(strongly overlapping this site)
DNR includes (in some fashion) all the projects on this site, plus other new projects which have not been added to theis site.

Update Policy 
As we approve data from the contractor they are posted here. Areas within many of the bare-earth DEMs can be improved by further processing of the all-return point data to better isolate bare-earth points. As we make these improvements we will upgrade the bare-earth DEMs and derivative images posted here.
